Table for Three, Terms and Conditions
These terms are the agreement between you and Belong Europe ApS for using Table for Three: Speak Daily. They are written to be read. By using the app you accept them.
Who we are
Table for Three is made by Belong Europe ApS, a company registered in Copenhagen, Denmark, CVR number 46649044. You can reach us at hello@belongeurope.com.
What Table for Three is
Table for Three is a speaking practice app for people learning a language they live with. You talk out loud with characters in everyday scenes, get one fix after each call from Oskar, the app’s host, and, where tables are open, talk each day with two other learners at your table of three. The app counts the minutes you actually spoke.
For adults
You must be 18 or older to use Table for Three. By joining a table you confirm that you are.
The characters and Oskar are AI
The people you call and Oskar are AI. They can mishear you, misunderstand you, correct something that was right or miss something that was wrong. Table for Three is practice, not teaching by a qualified teacher and not an assessment. It does not grade you, it does not award a level and it does not predict the result of any test. Your level in the app is the one you choose, and it only sets how the characters speak to you. The debrief is written by an AI from the words of your call and can be wrong in the same ways. If a character says something wrong, unkind or inappropriate, tell us at hello@belongeurope.com.
The free first call
Before you subscribe you can make one call of up to 75 seconds, once per iPhone. It needs no subscription and no account.
Daily talk time
Your subscription includes 20 minutes of calls with the characters each day, and a single call lasts up to 12 minutes. The minutes start again at midnight in your phone’s time zone, and unused minutes do not carry over. Every call that connects counts at least 30 seconds, and there is a limit of 12 calls a day. Time lost to a call that fails on our side is given back where we can detect it. Calls at your table do not count towards the daily minutes. The goal you set for yourself is yours alone and does not change the allowance.
Your table of three
- How it works. You choose a time and we seat you with two other learners at a similar level. Your table meets for 15 minutes every day at that time for four weeks, by voice only. After four weeks you get new faces, unless all three of you choose to stay together.
- Where tables are open. Tables open language by language, starting with Danish. In a language where tables are not open yet, the rest of the app works as usual.
- Showing up. Tell your table in advance if you cannot make it. If you miss three calls in a row without saying so, your seat is given to someone waiting. We cannot promise that the others will come every day; if nobody else comes, the app offers you a call with a character instead.
- Behaviour. Be kind and patient, let everyone finish and speak the language of the table. Do not harass, insult, threaten or pressure anyone, do not make sexual or hateful remarks, do not ask for or share contact details, money or personal information and do not sell anything. Do not record the call, by any means.
- Reporting and blocking. You can report or block anyone at your table at any time. Either way you move to a new table and are not seated with that person again. When two different people report the same person, that person’s tables are paused while we review it. We may end table access for anyone who breaks these rules.
- The others are real people. They are learners like you, not our staff, and we are not responsible for what they say. We do not check identities.
Subscriptions
- Table for Three is a monthly auto-renewable subscription. It costs 179 DKK a month in Denmark; in other countries the App Store shows you the exact price in your own currency before you confirm, and that price is the one that applies.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, once per Apple Account; the App Store shows it before you confirm. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the monthly price is charged when it ends and every month after.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription is sold and managed by Apple.
- The subscription renews automatically every month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current month, or the free trial, ends. You manage and cancel it in your Apple Account settings, or from the subscription card on the You tab.
- Where the law permits, any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when the paid subscription begins.
Offers for Belong app subscribers
- Subscribers of a Belong app (Belong Nordic, Belong Spain, Belong France, Belong Germany, Belong Italy, Belong Austria, Belong Switzerland or Belong United Kingdom) can get a one-time Apple offer code from that app: one free month of Table for Three.
- Subscribers of Saga, a Belong app’s speaking add-on, get a code for 30% off for 12 months instead.
- One code per Belong subscription and one offer per person: never both, and not together with the free trial. The code is redeemed in Apple’s own sheet and is subject to Apple’s terms for offer codes, including its expiry date.
- When the offer ends, the subscription continues at the normal monthly price unless you cancel before then. We may end these offers for new codes at any time; a code already given stays valid until its expiry date.
Refunds and cancellation
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. Purchases are refunded by Apple under Apple’s policy; you can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Using Table for Three well
Use the app personally, for practising a language. Do not share sensitive personal details in a call, such as health information, identity numbers or details about other people. Do not use it to produce unlawful or harmful content or to try to get the characters to do something other than help you practise, and do not try to get around the daily allowance or the one free call per iPhone. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app. We may suspend access for anyone who misuses it.
Availability
The characters’ voices are provided by Google, the debriefs and subtitles by Anthropic and the tables by Cloudflare. The app depends on their services. We may change these providers or how the app works, and a call can be interrupted or unavailable at times. Gemini and Google are marks of Google, Claude and Anthropic are marks of Anthropic and Cloudflare is a mark of Cloudflare; none of them endorses Table for Three. Apple, App Store and their marks belong to Apple, which does not endorse Table for Three either. How the app handles your voice and your data is set out in the privacy policy.
No warranty
Table for Three is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Belong Europe ApS is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of Table for Three, from your reliance on anything a character, Oskar or a debrief says, or from what other people at your table say or do. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
The app, its characters, Oskar, its scenes, its questions, its text and its design belong to Belong Europe ApS.
Ending your access
You can stop using Table for Three at any time and use Forget me on the You tab to delete your data. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version always lives on this page with its effective date, and material changes are announced in the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and nothing here removes them. Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies to your use of the app from the App Store.
